A Story of Balance
It is dark but as the sun peaks above the horizon—I can make out
the shapes only as grey silhouettes.
Soon, the morning sun pushes through my curtains.
In here the world is violet, bright, but not
Cast between my blinds—each shown as a thin yellow line against

If the sun were cool instead of warm this is what it would feel

Thankful for the warm space inside my small apartment I think of
the vastness outside and shiver.
